One thing first: NEiTHERNOR '97 was FUN!
                                                 
               Maverick, Atom Ant, Orbitoz and myself, The Gamer, went off to Weismain in
               the afternoon of september 05 1997 to meet e605 and his brother maguá (both
               of SDI) there. We had several computers with us, including the party network
               server which Atom Ant and Mav had installed. At the Stadthalle we put up all
               the computers and were very happy to see that no hdd had been killed during
               the transport ;). After we all had a huge pre-party-fuck together... ehm... 
               i shouldn't bore you with THAT ;). The first visitors arrived the next day at
               about 8 o'clock in the morning, and after some difficulties in the beginning we
               finally got the network running... and the party was on ;). The competition
               entries were shown on a nice video bigscreen and we also had a great sound
               system provided by DJ Fireball (SDI). Orbitoz ranked 2nd in the Ansi Compo; we
               had not expected that and were very happy about it (yeah!). The complete
               results are available from the nn '97 main page. After all, i think it was quite
               cool for everybody who was there! Unfortunately only about 25 people visited
               the party... we had been expecting more.
