November 1993, held parallel to the fair, there will be a party-like festival, organized in cooperation with Commodohre Germany GmbH by big design and the silents. what will be there to entertain you !? usual (boring) facilities: 7 -*- standard video-screen 1000x600 centimetres showing movies during non-actions genlogged with party-information -*- standard sound-equipment with several thousand watts (let's learn from other parties' sound-abilities and make it better) -*- standard-sized location in an own hall consisting of two floors offering room for more than 5000 people, their computers and enough room for them and their sleepingbags to sleep in silence & darkness -*- standard 24 hrs food-supply -*- standard competitions including demo, music, graphic (see further below) -*- support bulletin board system running from now until the end of the festival providing the fastest way to get the big party releases special (unusual big) facilities: -!- scene-quiz-show - who's got the best knowledge about scene today ? -!- radar^contrast^productions live in concert, introducing you to a fantastic industrial-trance-techno gig -!- video-competition -!- german TV-Stations will witness the festival; if it's good enough, the competitors of the video-act will be shown on MTV Europe -!- Commodore VIPs like Dave Haynie, Jim Sachs, Alwin Stumpf will be present for your amusement Competitions: Standard Demo - must run on A500/A2000 with 1 MB ChipRam or 1/2 MB ChipRam and 1/2 MB FastRam (public voted) and Kickstart 1.3 or higher (!) - if the demo needs user interaction, the producers must be present while the demo runs - max. one demo per coder - at least one person per group must be present at the festival - demo may run up to 20 minutes - deadline: 17:58:47.6 40k Intro - the executable-file mustn't be longer than 40k (= 40960 bytes); 40961 means: bad luck ! - other rules like in standard demo compo - playtime up to 15 minutes - deadline: 18:00 Turbo Demo - must run on A3000 with 2 MB ChipRam and 2 MB FastRam (jury voted) - must be Harddisk-loadable - may take full use of a 68030 (with MMU !) and a 68882 - playtime up to 15 minutes - deadline: 18:00 AGA Demo - must run on A1200 2 MB ChipRam and 1 MB FastRam (jury voted) - playtime up to 15 minutes - deadline: 18:00 C64 Demo - must run on standard C64 with one floppy drive (public voted) - may be up to 20 minutes long - deadline: 18:00 Music - music must be executable or 100% ProTracker V3.10 compatible (executables or protracker will be (public voted shown on screen) and be harddisk-loadable after preselection) - music may use up to 1 MB ChipRam - music may run up to 4 minutes - deadline: Friday, 18:00 Graphic - must be loadable into DPaint IV AGA (public voted) - minimum 5 steps of your drawing-work who clearly represent your painting-steps (won't be shown) must be handed out - scanned pictures are not allowed - deadline: 18:00 Chip-Tune - must be a protracker-module (public voted) - max. length 30kB - deadline: 18:00 Video - use VHS or S-VHS (jury voted) - max. 15 minutes - no special limitations - deadline: Friday, 18:00 Tool of the year - who makes the most useful tool in 1993 ? (public voted) - the tool must run on all Amigas with Kickstart 2.0 or higher and 100% confrom to all Commodore Programming and Style Guidelines - send in your tool 'til 10. October 1993; DON'T SEND IN A DEMOVERSION, ONLY FULL-VERSION ! - the organizers will compile one (or more) disk(s) which will be available from 15. October 1993 - at the party all guests may vote the tool of the year All demos, musics, etc. must be unreleased and free of others copyrights ! Others - real pinball competition (1. price: the compo-pinball) (more fun than feeling :) - Dynablasters competition - surprise ! If you have any other productions like A4000 Demos, Compact Disks, or any- thing that will impress Commodore bring it with you, it will be shown on the big screen and honoured of course. So just be creative !
