This time it's - Blippo-Jack 3 part 1 - why part one, I can hear you scream? Because we decided to split this Blippo-Jack 3 up in 2 pieces, part 1 & 2. The only reason to do that, was that I (Jail) had composed such large tunes that there only were space for 2 or 3 modules per. disk, so that's why we did it this way. (I hope it's ok!) This fabulous musicdisk is to be released at the biggest party even seen at this planet: Hurricane demoparty '92 (what an original name, but who cares). i hope it will be as good as the organisers promised us. But now back 2 this demo. First i have to escuse the code. We haven't got any time to make a new demo, so we decided to use the source from Blippo-Jack 1, and then use some new graphics and ofcourse some new music. So that's why you problably could recognize it. Now I have to tell you something about the different tunes on this disk.... The first one is called: - why do i always want to cut of your head and replace it with your leg - hahaha!!!! Just joking, but a nice title anyway. No the real name is - kaos - in a special amok version. I used a lot of samples in it, both from Kaos and Turn up the music. In the first place i've made the tune including the new Dr. Baker single - Inan - , but it weren't so great, so I decided to skip it,and only use the to mentioned tunes, cause they are great. If you think the tunes on this disk is to housy, then just reset and boot blippo-jack 3 part 2, 'cause that's more hardcore, i think. But now on to tune nr. 2, and it's called: - Twilight Zone - I'm sure you know it from the disco, 'cause it was one of the most played tunes 4 to 5 months ago. I know that it isn't real techno, but I like it anyhow. The last tune, and problably the most wellknown, on this disk is - James Brown is dead - a little remix, who's very inspired by the - deadly - remix on the - jb is dead - compilation-maxi. But i fixed a new intro and some other things. Enjoy it!! Ok, now i have to finish this scroller, but that doesn't mean that you have to reset your computer, 'cause this music is danceable, so I can only say: -Turn up the music folks, and dance - See you in part 2 signed Jail ++ Other text Gnu Design presents: Blippo-Jack Volume 3 Part 2 ---------------------------- Released at The Hurricane Party '92 the 26th-29th June '92 CREDITS: Coding by Tax Music by Jail Graphics by Sportsman Do you wanna swap samples or records, then write to: Jakob Langgaard Krebsen 101 3650 0lstykke Denmark Loading & Decrunching, Please wait.... ++ Other text Ok I'm back on your monitor to introduce the the second part of the newest musicdemo from Gnu Design: - Blippo-Jack 3 - I don't know if you can see it on the titles, but this time I'll hit you with some more hardcore Frankfurt-techno. The first title is - What is..? fick dich - and that's a complete conversion of a tune made by a group? Called friends of Alex. It's a tune that was on the top of the official german technochart in March '92. By the way, what do you think about the little allusion in the start of the tune, hahahaha!!!! the second and the last tune, (what a pity), on this musicdisk is the tune - Elvis killed James Brown - and that's a little mix of some of the most known records, from the - old, maybe dead superstars is going techno - wave. These records are a bit old, but still going strong (one of the greatest hits in greece is - james brown is dead -) Ok now it's time for some greetings and credits. We want to greet the following persons: The rest of the Gnu Design crew, Hurricane (nice idea to make the party on Samso), to all the guys at the party, who all hopefully likes techno and to those persons who all offered some stamps and sended me some samples: JFK Mozart, Mad Micro, Pearl and Profile (may your computer rest in peace). If any of you out there want to swap some samples, the feel free to contact me on the adresse there's shown while this disk is booting. And please! if you send good samples, i'll send good samples. So don't send samples with strange srighsurehtiureshtsiue-sounds in the background, thank you. Ohh i've forgot to tell you something. We are looking for a new good coder, who wants to code techno-demos. 'Cause our coder is a bit tired of doing those kind of demos (he hates techno). So if you are looking for new challenges, then contact me on the adress mentioned in the boot-intro??????? A last note from Tax - Get my GnuPacker V1.2 now!! - Merry summer and a happy holliday, from all of us to all of you. See ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
