Sorry, I can't take this file apart until you give me the right password! deleted. No problems, file written OK! Thanks for using The Hellraisers Lightning-Text!! Choose your option... 1 - Make a Lightning-Text file 2 - Take apart a Lightning-Text file 3 - About this program 4 - Quit -=> This is a utility to make it easier to type text files for compilation disks etc, protect them a bit, and to hopefully end those lame startups full of commands like Border, 256, and CLS... It puts all these commands in one file so it is fast to load and more professional looking. You can also make the program wait for the mouse after the text is typed, so you can throw away that mouse command as well! Using the program is pretty simple - just give the names of the file you want converted and the file you want to save to. Then just choose the options you want to use when typing the text. You can then choose to view the file or just go ahead and save it as a Lightning-Text file, but if you view it and it's not the one you want then you can quit from there without saving. NOTE!! The routine I used to turn the border off also has to enlarge the window and clear the screen. It will leave out those options if you chose to turn the border off... You can also enter the filenames from the CLI if you want, eg: 1> Lightning-Text df0:s/startup-sequence ram:Hellraisers! ...Press the left mouse button to continue... When you make a Lightning-Text file you will be asked for a password. If anyone ever wants to take your file apart then they will have to guess this password. More protection will be put in if I ever decide to do another version... If these instructions are all over the place then use an 80 column screen. Thanks to : Acid, creator of the original CLI-Text (for the idea) Whoever wrote the Border/256 command (I used it in this program) All the lamers who use long and slow startups (for making me want to write this utility...) The Hellraisers are : Nemesis, Viper, Werewolf and Elite ...Press the left mouse button to continue... A Hellraisers Lightning-Text production!!
