Well, you could say so, anyway, hope to see you in Aars, as you obviously weren't present in Silkeborg End of messages from Estrup. Now Playboy would like to talk shit about a little partyreport, and so be it I arrived to the lovely town of Silkeborg at around 15.30 Friday afternoon. I had to walk a little, because the bus didn't stop by the school. But soon my eyes caught sight of a sign saying Lowlife '91 512 meters (actually this was not true, because we measured it later to be exactly 817.5 meters).... Well, I finally arrived at the partyplace. Before I had time to carry my stuff inside, Tuborg of Light said that I should go along with Lunatic (also Light) to get some tables, and so we did... After more than one hour of lifting tables and chairs on and off a trailer, we were finally done. Then the visitors started to show up. 310 people had announced their presence, but only around 250 actually showed up. Then after a while I went to the pizza supplier across the street (they probably had the sale of the decade) to get something to eat, and after that I sat down at the entrance for some hours. The party place consisted of one main room and two smaller ones . The main room was totally filled and at around 2 Friday night we had to call an electrician to avoid power blackouts. At that time our new gfx man Sonny and I borrowed a digitiser from some other freaks, and then we digitised a lot of pictures from Sonnys video camera. Then I went to sleep for about 4 hours, because nothing much happened at that time. When I got up, I found John Doe of Static Bytes in the process of repairing Hawkeyes mouse. He used his feet to hold the mouse, and both hands were used for soldering (I think you will find a picture of that somewhere above). That day passed very quickly doing nothing but jerking around and meeting people. Saturday night we (Howard, John Doe, Free and me) checked out the city of Silkeborg. First we found a grill where we used a lot of money on the pinball machine. John Doe had the best score of the night with around 24 million points (lucky bastard), I came in second with aprox 9 mio. Free and Howard came in 3rd and 4th... The bitches in the grill were pretty horney, but they were quite ugly, so I didn't do anything about it. On our way back to the car my balls had a quite nasty collision with a road sign, and after that we decided to go back to the party place. After only a few minutes there, we (Howard, Free, Sonny and me) drove off again. We shot some video and went for a walk in the town. After that we cruised by a disco some times to see if any good looking bitches were around, but since there didn't seem to be any, we went back to the partyplace again. After we had dressed up we (Free and me) went to a disco called Bodisque or something like that. There we met Krueger and Vention of Kefrens and we boozed for a while and listened to the music. The disco was quite cool, but it was too crowded, and we decided to find another one. After walking around for a while we went to a club called Sams Bar. That place was rather cool, and the music was also rather good. There we boozed some more and ate some toasts. After a while we decided that it was time to go back to the partyplace. We went outside to see if we could get hold off a taxi, but that was almost impossible, and even the cabs with the free sign lit didn't stop. Well, we had no choice, we had to walk around 3 kilometers back to the party. Only a few hours after our return it was time for the demo competition to take place. We were rather disappointed by the number of competing demos, but there was really nothing we could do about it. To everyones surprise(??), Kefrens were voted no. 1 and recieved the 1st prize of 4000 DKR and 2000 DKR worth of software. The 2nd place was really tight.. The coop demo from Flash and Quartex beat the demo from Light by only 1 lousy point. The 2nd prize was 2000 DKR and 1000 DKR worth of software, and the 3rd prize was 1000 DKR and 500 DKR worth of software. Well after some time the freaks began to leave, and we started to clean up the mess. It took us almost 6 hours to clean the whole shit up, but when we were finished, the whole school was neat and tidy. All in all I think that it was a rather funny party. The only thing to be said was, that too few demos competed in the competition, but apart from that I think that everyone there had a really great time..... Well enough about the party, now I (still Playboy) will throw out some fast greetings and messages to some of my friends in and outside the scene... To Ice Lord of Direct Congratulations on your birthday the 10th of October. Have a nice day and let us hope for a new 3.5 eh!?? To Clairvoyant of Toxic Track Hi there.. Well, I had better end my part of this scroll if Christian is going to make it run on 512 KB (I'm not. Ed)... As a final word, I would like to say, that if any of you cool people out there would like to contact me for swapping cool stuff, music tapes (rap, techno etc...) (That's not music. Ed), then you should write to me at this adress (no illegal stuff and no faked stamps) Static Bytes Mads Pedersen Skolegade 3 8850 Bjerringbro Denmark Of course only friendship swapping and no lamers You could also try to give me a call (evenings only) (45) 86 68 28 28 Ask for Mads!!!
