  Acrylic Rumours from #5
by Spook

as appeared in acrylic weekly issue five

allright kiddies.. time for dem rumors... it's been brought to my attention that you guys are sick of the funny rumors.. [acheron ed note: i wasn't] fine.. i can live with that but i have to tell you.. there are a lot less real rumors than there are funny ones :).. but here goes..

acid!ansi, having completely and cleanly split from acid productions, has still got some good competition with twilight.. when i asked a high ranking official in acid!ansi if a merger with twilight was ever probable, he said, well.. it's a possibility, but i don't see it happening here in the near future...

acid!productions, unavailable for comment, seems unphased by the split of acid!ansi, maybe because of the strong ascii department that is still present.. i talked to necromancer on whether he foresaw remorse ascii becoming an individual group again, to which he said "if remorse ascii left acid, acid would surely die" he also wanted me to add that remorse ascii was a merger between trank and acid!ascii, apparently some ppl still dont know that :) [editors note : duh]

of course there is still the conspiracy that thclOne is in actuality george clooney, but you all know that by now..

oh.. in other news/rumors.. a new program [editors note : it's probably not new but it has just been introduced into the scene] called vcom, has enabled anyone with half a brain to setup a telnet bbs... this program (for windows95) emulates telnet connections into a hayes modem type format, very similar to the way hooptie presented this in the first and only issue of logon magazine [editors note : damn that was a good magazine, i wish it was still around] only a lot easier... all it involves is a little configuring, and running the program before you load yer bbs... this program may very well lead to the rise of the board scene once again... if you wanna check out this program, go to http://www.netime.com/~infrared/vcom...

well kiddies.. that's it for this week.. i hope you like these better..
