The Fuck Is Wrong With VGA?

I usually think in #ansi which is a main place on irc (and always
will be where the people are from artscene on Irc) about that why
vga is so misunderstood. Scene has started with ansis, thats true
and always the main part of it will be among ansis. After some years
of the start of artscene programs devoloped and people started to
do vga - and now many of the old ansiveterans has changed their
medium from ansi to vga. So, why people disunderstand vga as a medium.
There are many reasons:
1. Ansi making itself is a PRIVATE inside world of art.
All the ansis that are made are 99.9% made in artscene. Due to this,
you can be easily with hard work (ofcourse) one of the topten ansimakers
in WHOLE _universum_ if people from higher planets like svargaloka
haven't stealed the IBM ansicodes yet. With vga's, we can't say
that even a promils promil of vga's are made in artscene. This way,
we can't compete -> or we can but the whole competition is in scenepacks.
And actually there isn't any competition at all i think. The biggest
competition might be between acid and ice -> acid is much better
in handdrawn stuff, especially ARTISTICAL works, but ice
reigns in rendered works.
2. Some people doesnt want to watch vga's. Leeching packs
over a meg is boring to some people and they just leeches the ansiparts
of them. Just cause they don't care about the vga's in the packs.
My opinion about vga and general shit.
What I want to see in packs?
Good vga's are hard to find. I usually watch packs from acid,
ice and now fire packs too mainly. Other little groups are unworthy
to look vga's, not all, but there's such kinds of shit i hate so
i drop out the whole pack. I like acid's artistical views very much,
because acid has so much VARITY in the packs. We have jason,
cat, borian, visigoth and vengeance + me fast mentioned. Every one
of us has a OWN style to do pictures which is a best thing
i see there. No, a OWN style in whole art medium but in the
underground artscene.
That differs acid from other little groups. Ice has also a great
vga divison but i don't like their way of releasing policy. Mostly
ice is a family that releases all kinds of shit too in the packs,
and i dont like the way that they have recruit people to the groups
from professionals that releases their OLD stuff from their
homepages etc. thats fucking LAME, lame and lame. Also, artscene
is for becoming artists or people who supports others with a little
competition, not just a place to release and show to 15 year old
kids "Hey people, im a professional, i have quality and skills."
Anyway, who wants to see high quality renderings in the packs that
we see everyday in the tv and stuff? Also, as we know that artgroups
like Acid and Ice can't sell the pictures as they are mainly into
it, why we see boring commercial shit there?. Is there many requests
we get with the website for example? hell, no =).. And poor gays
begging on irc some art have any money to pay with HARD work.
otherwise they gives you UNWORTHY wares.
The same goes to demoscene where most of the peopleare nowadays
doing womanheads pixeled based to scans. Thats lame. It's based
to technique the shade with limited palette, not art. Althought
there are many very quality graphicians in demoscene too like Cougar
and RA, and RWO.. Mainly from Amiga500times. Also,
I dont want to see any chick heads pixeled. If would like, I just
open tv. Many demoscene people keeps on talking that we are cheating
with the usage of photoshop + filters. Most of them just can't handle
the truth that we are GOOD to DRAW OWN stuff,
and CREATE, like visigoth, not just copy.
Vga should also be much more qualitychecked. For example you can
do easily 10 or more eyecandie logos in photoshop in a hour. Ok,
just open it, choose a cool font which has designed a other people,
fill it if you like with texture explorer for example, put a shade
or glow from alienskin to it and if you like, do a kewl background
for it with for example aldus gallery effects. Everytime I see these
fucked up works in the packs, yes -> fire and ice have released
that kinds of works lately - it makes me to think these people are
lame. And yes they are as long as they keeps on releasing easy shit.
If you can't release quality works, drop the shit out cause releasing
is should no be a fashion. As long as you surf on web you see thousands
of that kinds of works -> yes, they are NOT for ARTPACKS.
I have thought to found a group that releases ONLY artistical
pieces. Not any shit. This is a idea that releases only original
works like NO LAME comix rips in ansis. Flame talked about
it in last ACRYLIC in a way I liked it. If someone can't
know what is a artistical high or the depression with creating own
styles and stuff, he will not be invited =) that group should be
also above all other Commercial places in web. Or should try to
be. Thus it could release with much wide mediums like oilcolors
and show them in web. Every artist there should also be a individual
person with own ideas and stuff.
My opinion about ascii is that it's a artform too, thus it is
very technicalbased and you can't be creative with it. I don't also
like that if some one discovers a new style (which he mainly rips
from from other asciiartist) he continues with the same shit the
whole time. That's lame. ART is to me mainly based on feelings and
stuff.

Also, i'd love to send greeting to people who HAVE created
NEW NEW ideas and that kind of stuff. Not to mention any
