(_sodium) well here i am with the one and only kosh.. hi res artist extraordinare.. whats yer previous handles/groups/etc..

(Kosh64) Ah... I started out in STAB... A local 708 group... And then I joined MOP breifly... Then I joined ACiD... And then I quit Mop... and then later STAB died, so I quit that too... I used to be Ambassador Kosh. I'm still an Ambassador, I just don't brag about it as much..
(Kosh64) I forgot... I'm in a demo group called Beyond as well...

(_sodium) neato.. when did you start drawing high resolution graphics?

(Kosh64) In 1993 I found a little program called Neopaint... Then later in 1994 I found a program called POV Ray and I joined the art scene...

(_sodium) what tool do you currently use? photoshop?

(Kosh64) I use 3D Studio mainly. I also use Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Deluxe Paint II, and a veritable cornicopia of graphics programs.
(Kosh64) Beyond won 4th place in the demo compo at Naid btw... (FREE PLUG!!!)

(_sodium) ahaha.. north american demo compos are so damn elite.. whats the most publicity or recognition you personally have recieved from your hard work?

(Kosh64) Well... My email box is always stuffed with requests that I can't fulfill... You can ask me, but I probably won't do it... I feel bad about it, but it's just harsh reality. I'm not God (even though some would say otherwise...;)

(_sodium) haha.. ok well.. how long do you usually spend on a vga?

(Kosh64) I usually get a day off and I sit down at like 11:00 and work straight through for like 7-10 hours.

(_sodium) wow

(Kosh64) I like to do everything at once.
(Kosh64) But usually I go back a few days later and fix it up etc...

(_sodium) by the way.. i liked the little mr. burns you stuck on yer vgas.. that was you wasnt it?

(Kosh64) Yeah... I used the little Mr. Burns... He's my role model.

(_sodium) it looked so damn elite
(_sodium) so how do you feel about other groups on the scene?

(Kosh64) I seriously have never really looked at any other groups...;)

(_sodium) really?? not even iCE Advo?

(Kosh64) Ice is always nice, but I don't understand how they can allow some of the stuff they have... Need some QC...

(_sodium) ok.. well.. where did you get the name kosh?

(Kosh64) It's from Babylon 5. He's this alien guy from this ancient race that pretended to be angels (or higher beings) to trick primative races...

(Kosh64) He's cool... We never really "work" so to speak. I just draw pictures. That's what it's all about. Drawin' pictures. Whenever it goes beyond that, I consider leaving...;)

(_sodium) do you do much freehand drawing / painting etc.. in the "real world"

(Kosh64) I love to draw with pen and ink freehand...

(Kosh64) I want to make movies. I want to be the next George Lucas, except skinnier without a beard.

(Kosh64) When I quit ACiD I'll be quiting the art scene.

(Kosh64) Well... George Lucas is a big inspiration. I like Moebius, Dave Dorman, H.R. Giger, as far as art goes... One of my big heroes is J. Michael Straczynski, the creator of Babylon 5. He beat incredible odds to get, what in many peoples opinion, is the first REAL science fiction show on television. I'm also inspired by Shigeru Miyamato the creator of the Super Mario games.
(Kosh64) James Cameron is cool too... He directed Aliens, Terminator 2, True Lies...
(Kosh64) Big pioneer in 3d graphics/special effects...
