Sorry about the crappy video quality of that timelapse, 
it was captured with the embedded recorder in dpaint.js, and the safari-based web engine on my iPad did a particular poor job on it.
(Especially because there was a scaling bug in the recording code when working with an odd-sized canvas that I only discovered after the damage was done)
