..............................................
Oh gosh! I don't like to talk about myself so much. Anyway this page is especially for all guys who want to know some details of  my life. Well....let's start:
.....................

My name is Adam Skorupa and I'm 23 years old. I live in Poland, (information for guys from United States : this isn't a state of US) in one of the biggest polish cities: Wroclaw. About 10  years ago  I started my big passion to music. It was very funny beginning, because being a musician wasn't exactly my personal decision. One day  just like usually at that time, I was copying some pirate copies of games on the market and then  some of my friends came and started to laugh at me. They had  explained that I'm lame and I don't know nothing about computers except for one thing - how to break joysticks. They've showed me some program they called 'DEMO'. It was really awful stuff: ugly graphics, damn lame program and noisy music....but I was fascinated very much. I asked them to let me in to this group but I wasn't sure what could I do there. Well...they told me that there were enough coders and graphicians inside the group, but they didn't have any musician in the team, yet ....so.... in this tisuation  they had to rip songs from other demos..
"I will be a musician, then!!!" I told them, and they gave me first program for making some music (it was Amiga's Noise Tracker).
I spent a lot of time on learning this crazy program and after 3 weeks I made my first song....he he it was only 30 seconds long :)))) My group decided that I'm good enough to stay inside their team......and my career begun. My life was totally changed ...making music gives me a lot of satisfaction and made me a lot of friends on the "demo scene". I was surprised when ppl told me that they liked my style and they needed my songs for their own demos. So...it motivated me to work stronger and stronger on  my skills to be better and more experienced in composing.

Thanks to this fact actually I am heavily into music composing and I finally built my middle-proffesional home studio. I'm sure that durring this long time  I made a lot of progress and quality of my songs is much better than songs made at the begining. As a proof  I can say that for 4 years I've been making a lot of music for commercial stuff   like games, TV commercials, cartoons etc. If I remember well....there were about 25 projects where I was asked for do all the background music and sound effects.
Ah yes...sound effects...I just love to do it and I could call it "my second big passion"! There is a lot of fun when ppl asking me for some difficult sounds and I wonder how to prepare it. You should take a look on my room! Sometimes it looks like a huge trashcan.. a lot of strange things laying on my floor, and it is very dangerous to walk there :))))
Many times my neighbours got pissed off at me for making noise during the night, but who cares- when I need to make pain-screams or some explosions I am in state similiar to trance and I don't give a hell about them :)

5 years ago I started to work for a games company called   LeryxLongsoft, as (of course!)a   musician. But I was also told by my bosses that I have to be a director of one of the games aswell (it was 'Clash'). Well...it was something big and new for me. As a chief of several guys team  there were lots of things on my head. It was a good experience, bacause now I have good knowledge how to work with a team and I know how should look all the game sources. After 1 year long production we finished that game and now I am able to think about some new project.
Meanwhile I prepared a couple of songs for commercial  audio compilations. There were 2 CDs ("Cyberlogic") made by german music label called TRSI Recordz  where I released my techno styled songs. A bit later I made an ambient tune for cover CD of most famous polish paper  magazine called "Techno Party" and just recently I prepared a Goa song for Norwegian music label, which will be included on "Meltdown" audio CD (it will be available on the market in the beginnig of december)..

I can't forget to tell you about "Lightflow" album . I worked together with my two very good friends (Falcon and KeyG) on stuff for our first own audio album. We decided to prepare music in our favourite style AMBIENT and after a couple of months of hard work we finished it!! Quality of songs were satisifying for us and it, in our opinion, had own original style ....so....   we are happy that we have first  own CD on our account (good subject to chat about it with our grandsons) :)))  "Lighflow" is available only on polish market, but we are still looking for some foreign distributors. We will see, maybe someone will be interested about it...I'm full of hope.

Ahhh...one more thing.....during production of Clash I got very fascinated about 3D graphics and modelling. I saw graphicians working
with lines and some other weird spheres and after watching the end results of all that strange work I was really impressed. I love to watch 3d animations in games and movies. Because of my character I decided to also give it a try...hehehe....I like to make changes in my life ....why not try to upgrade my skills to 3dgraphcics, huh?! :)
I'm not so good (YET), but you can see a couple of my renders in the GFX directory.Anyway I was able to make all the graphics for this page....Hope you will like it.

Naturally, I shouldn't forget to tell you about my  friend Wojtek, also known as 'Unreal'. Even though gigantically arrogant, egoistic and self centered, he also posseses immense coding, gfx and music skills and we spend some time at pizzerias, cinemas and pubs (he also thinks I'm a terrific friend, of course :) I'm really glad such legendary fantastic person is my friend, and Unreal is happy such legendary fantastic and skilled person like me is his friend ;) We're planning to leave Poland one day, and become huge stars of international market.

At the finnish I should tell you few words about my sweet Geraldine. I know her only 3 months, but my feeling to her is deeper and deeper day by day. She makes my life more interesting and much better. She is  very good critic with good woman's sense of art- I can count on her good criticizm  about my music and I'm sure that she always talking me truth. When I made some crap- she told me...I appreciate it very much. Pity that we live so far (she is french)...but I am full of hope that it will be chnaged, very soon! =)

Well....well...well.....I think it is all I can tell you about my self.
